Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Kinetic, Uniti Fiber, Uniti Solutions, and Uniti Wholesale (together, “Uniti,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit our websites, use our mobile apps, or purchase our Services.
This Policy applies to individual consumers, business customers, website visitors, and people who apply for jobs with us.

Automated Processing and Inferences
We may use automated tools, including artificial intelligence, to assist with some or all of the uses described in this Policy including to help analyze information, identify trends, improve services, protect our systems, and deliver relevant communications. These tools help support our business operations and are not used to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
We may share personal information in the following circumstances:
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, certain disclosures—such as sharing information with third‑party advertising or analytics partners—may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under some U.S. state privacy laws. See Annex A for additional detail.
Our Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
Like most websites and mobile apps, we and our partners use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies ("tracking technologies") in connection with our Services. These technologies may be deployed by us or our partners to provide analytics, advertising, or support services.
How These Technologies Work
Tracking technologies may collect information about your interactions with our websites and apps over time and across different websites or online services. This information can include pages visited, links clicked, features used, IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and approximate location information.

Your Choices and Opt‑Out Options
You have several options to manage or limit the use of tracking technologies:
Non‑Advertising Uses
We may also work with third‑party service providers that collect information about how our websites, apps, and Services are used over time for non‑advertising purposes, such as analytics, performance monitoring, and service improvement. Limiting cookies or tracking technologies may affect these functions as well as overall site performance
You may opt out of promotional emails or marketing messages at any time using the instructions provided in those communications. Some service‑related messages may still be sent when necessary.
We may send text messages (SMS or MMS) for service updates, account‑related communications, or marketing, if you have provided consent or where permitted by law. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any unaffiliated third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of Text Message services that have no vendor relationship with Uniti. When you purchase Services from us, federal law protects certain information known as Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI). CPNI includes information about the type, quantity, technical configuration, destination, location, and amount of use of the telecommunications services you receive from us. We obtain this information through our relationship with you and through information contained in your service records and billing information. CPNI does not include information that is generally considered personally identifiable information, such as your name or email address, and does not include aggregated or de‑identified data.
Federal law requires us to protect the confidentiality of your CPNI. Consistent with these requirements, we may use your CPNI to provide Services to you and, unless you choose to opt out, to inform you about additional services that may be of interest to you.
You may opt out of our use of CPNI for marketing services to which you do not already subscribe at any time by contacting us through any of our support options. Even if you choose to opt out, we may continue to use CPNI to provide or market services that are within the same categories of service to which you already subscribe, as permitted by law. Your decisions will not affect the Services you currently receive from us.
If you order services through one of our authorized agents or partners, those agents or partners may not access or use your CPNI unless you provide specific consent authorizing us to share it. All agents and partners are required to protect the confidentiality of CPNI and to use it only for authorized purposes. Upon termination of your services, agents and partners must promptly return or securely delete all CPNI and may not retain it in any form.
To provide reliable service, we monitor network traffic for performance, security, and lawful purposes. In limited circumstances, we may inspect data to address threats or comply with legal requirements
Our Services may include links to third‑party websites or content. These third parties have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their policies or activities. If you provide any personal information through a third‑party site, your interaction and your personal information will be collected and controlled according to that third party’s privacy policy and security practices.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under state law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
California
If you are a California resident and we collect your personal information in your role as a job applicant, employee, contractor, director, officer, or other representative of a business customer, California law provides you with certain rights. In this context, we collect personal information to manage employment-related activities, administer business services, comply with legal obligations, and operate our business. Subject to certain limitations, you may have the right to request access, correction, or deletion, and to receive information about the categories of personal information we collect and how we use it. Requests must be submitted through the business customer or employer with whom you are affiliated using the contact information provided in the “Contact Us” section.
We do not sell or share personal information collected in this context for cross‑context behavioral advertising.
Kentucky
If you are a resident of Kentucky, you may have rights that include access, deletion, correction, portability, opt‑out of certain processing (including targeted advertising and certain profiling activities), and appeal. Requests may be submitted using the contact information in the Contact Us section. Identity verification may be required, and if we deny your request you may appeal by following the instructions provided in our response
Nebraska
If you are a resident of Nebraska, you may have rights that include access, deletion, correction, portability, opt‑out of certain processing (including targeted advertising and certain profiling activities), and appeal. Requests may be submitted using the contact information in the Contact Us section. Identity verification may be required, and if we deny your request you may appeal consistent with Nebraska law.
Texas
If you are a resident of Texas, you may have rights that include access, deletion, correction, portability, opt‑out of certain processing (including targeted advertising and certain profiling activities), and appeal. Requests may be submitted using the contact information in the Contact Us section. Identity verification may be required, and if we deny your request you may appeal consistent with Texas law.
We use reasonable physical, technical, and administrative measures designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we encourage caution when sharing information online.
From time to time, we may notify you about products or services we believe may be of interest. You may opt out of these communications at any time. Just contact us.
Uniti complies with all applicable laws and regulations regarding “Do Not Call” Lists. Generally, Uniti is allowed to contact its customers, even if the customers are registered with federal or state Do Not Call Lists, because of our relationship with you. Uniti will, of course, honor any request to remove your name from our telephone, mail or e-mail solicitation lists and will delete your information from existing files within a reasonable time period.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our websites and apply going forward.
For complaints that cannot be resolved between Uniti and the User, such disputes will be governed by the current provisions of Uniti’s Terms and Conditions, or the terms of your written agreement with Uniti, if applicable.

B. Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, how it is used, and applicable legal, accounting, security, or operational requirements. In determining retention, we consider factors such as the nature and sensitivity of the data, the risk of harm from unauthorized access, the purpose for which the data was collected, whether that purpose can be achieved through other means, and applicable legal or reporting obligations.

Some states define “sale” or “sharing” broadly and may treat certain disclosures—such as sharing information for cross‑context behavioral advertising—as a “sale” or “sharing” even when no money is exchanged.
